Your weekend in Knoxville
Did you find yourself daydreaming at work today about what you’ll be doing this weekend? Tsk, tsk. Just kidding – Knoxvillager is more than happy to aid and abet you in your slacking off:
Start your weekend off tomorrow evening with lots of First Friday activities. The Arts and Culture Alliance is holding their 2009 Members Show at the Emporium Arts Center. Tennessee Valley Bicycles on Magnolia is celebrating their grand opening. Glowing Body in the Downtown North area is staying open until 9pm and promises to have a few surprises in store (Knoxvillager is certainly intrigued…)! The first Symphony on the Square is…on the Square!
The Market Square Farmer’s Market kicks off this Saturday at 9:00am and runs until 2:00pm. More details and some delicious fresh fruit and flower pics here.
Sunday come to World’s Fair Park for a Cinco de Mayo celebration, and follow it up by going to see the great indy classic Rushmore at the Bijou.
Have fun!
